Learn about how to laying your pattern, preparation of pattern pieces, reading and adjusting your pattern, symbols, and assembly techniques and will go away with at least one finished garment.
…and the course includes a dedicated session on understanding fabrics – what is the difference between a satin and a twill, is silk the same as satin? This will really help you with fabric choices for your future projects!

We will provide the pattern/s but you will need to supply your chosen fabrics and notions – instructions will be given prior to course starting including recommended suppliers.

AIMED AT: Intermediate sewists who want to develop their confidence to make their own garments.
Bring your own sewing machine.

Some machines available to borrow if you don’t have your own, please notify at the time of booking ( only available on a first come first served basis )

Numbers are kept low on all our workshops to allow more dedicated attention for everyone. Basic sewing machine skills required. 6 places available.
