Beacon Cottage Farm Holidays is part of a traditional working Cornish family farm. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast with the Southwest Coast path passing our door giving access to miles of coastal walking with some of the finest sea and coastal scenery in Cornwall. The iconic remains of Wheal Coates as seen in the popular BBC Poldark series is just a 5 minutes walk from the farm.
The park is peaceful, clean and uncommercialised. The camping area is divided into 6 small landscaped paddocks, two of which have spectacular sea and coastal views, while others are surrounded by trees and shrubs offering shelter for those who prefer it. The all new facilities for 2018 are located in tastefully converted barns located around a central yard. These include spacious washrooms with showers and toilets, panelled and tiled throughout and with constant free hot water, baby baths, hairdryers, shaving sockets and baby changing. There are also 3 separate family washrooms for families with young children.
Other facilities include a fully equipped laundry and dishwashing room with constant free hot water, washing machines, tumble dryer, spinner and iron.
Chemical disposal point, motorhome service area, children’s adventure play area and dogs exercise field.
The area is a haven for walkers, conservationists, bird and nature watchers. We are 10 minutes’ walk from the National Trust’s Chapel Porth Beach with its spectacular unspoilt cove offering excellent bathing and surfing, caves to explore and delightful shallow rock pools for little children to play in.
The small picturesque village of St Agnes is just a short drive away or you can walk along the scenic footpath that runs through fields and by the foot of St Agnes Beacon. For the energetic there are many leisure activities nearby or you can just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful location.
