About This Project

Established in 2000, and part of the Driftwood Spars pub and B&B, the Driftwood Spars Brewery probably has the best sea views of any brewery.
We are a multi award winning microbrewery and are proud to have achieved the Champion Winter Beer of Great Britain in 2012 awarded by CAMRA for Alfie’s Revenge. We produce a range of 8 core beers that are supplemented by a rolling selection of specials and one off brews.
Our ales are crafted for every palate, from session strength pale ales, through to rich dark porters and award winning gluten free beer, brewed using sorghum, a type of grass. All of our beers now have their gluten removed and are suitable for coeliacs. Many of the beers are designed to be paired with foods and are regularly used to great effect in the food lovingly crafted for our customers in the pub.
